Kansas Team Nutrition is proud to announce several exciting nutrition education, physical activity and wellness grant opportunities for Kansas schools!

Family Fun, Food & Fitness


Family Fun, Food & Fitness
is a new initiative promoting parent and community involvement in student wellness.  Kansas Team Nutrition
has partnered with Kansas Families and Schools Together, Inc. (KFAST) on this effort.  The Family Fun, Food & Fitness initiative provides $500 mini-grants to schools interested in hosting a family and community health event.  Click on the bullet to download an application for this program.  Applications must be post-marked by October 1, 2008 to fund a fall event and by January 12, 2009 to fund a spring event.
 


Power Panther Professionals


Power Panther Professionals
is Kansas Team Nutrition’s 12-week staff wellness program for school and child care center staff.  This year, we are excited to offer participating sites mini-grant funds in the amount of $15 per participant to support program activities!  Click on the bullet to download an application for this program.  Applications must be postmarked by October 1, 2008.

 

Power Panther Pals

ower Panther Pals
has been updated and expanded to reach students in grades K-5!

·         Power Panther Pals Primary Level is our newest version of Pals and is designed for grades K-2.

·         Power Panther Pals Intermediate Level is our grade 3-5 program that has been updated with new activities and weekly lessons.

Both 8-week programs focus on Power Panther’s "EAT SMART.
