Who should attend? Local school food service personnel
What is the training about? Classes are available on a variety of topics ranging from interpersonal skills, to safety and sanitation to culinary skills. Refer to Class Descriptions for a detailed description of each class.
When does the training take place? On the day(s) of your choice
Where is the training held? At the school of your choice
Who conducts the training? Nutrition Services cadre trainers (which include current school food service directors, independent consulting dietitians, and faculty from Kansas State Universitys Department of Hotel, Restaurant, Institution Management and Dietetics)
How much does it cost? $250 per day plus trainer expenses (mileage, lodging, meals) plus class supplies (for lab classes only)
