Who can request assistance? Directors or other lead food service employees, program administrators, superintendents, principals
What type of assistance is provided? One-on-one, on-site assistance on:
- Menu planning
- Production records
- Financial management
- Purchasing (food and equipment)
- Personnel issues
- Nutrition education
- Kitchen and/or cafeteria design and layout
- General management for new directors
- Anything else needed to make the program successful
When is the assistance provided? When requested (during or after school hours, year round)
Where is the assistance provided? On-site (and/or by phone)
Who provides the assistance? Network members (The Network consists of 30 school food service managers and directors with extensive experience and specific skills.)
How much does it cost? Initial assistance is provided free of charge
