Registration Fees:
  Regional Training Cooperative classes - Daily charge of $15 per person for less than 4 hours of training and $25 per person for 4 hours or more of training
  Food Safety Basics - No charge, unless provided as an in-service training for fewer than 30 participants
  Child Nutrition Management Academy - Daily charge of $15 per person for less than 4 hours of training and $25 per person for 4 hours or more of training
  SMI Menu Planning & Production Records Classes - No charge
  School Nutrition Administrative Workshops - No charge

5-Star Training System Overview Overview of Training Programs
  A wide range of high quality training opportunities is available for School Nutrition Program personnel.  These include KSDE's Child Nutrition Management Academy, Administrative Workshops, School Meals Initiative Menu Planning and Production Records Workshops, and Food Safety Basics classes. 

Additionally, a statewide system of 34 Regional Training Cooperatives (RTCs) offers a wide variety of classes to personnel throughout Kansas.  Based on local needs and interests, regional coordinators select KSDE-developed classes to offer and make local arrangements.  KSDE provides class content, participant materials, trainers, online registration, invoicing, and publicity via e-mail notifications and this website.
