HealthierUS School Challenge - The Healthier Kansas Menus are designed to help you meet the challenge of serving nutritious meals that will appeal to students. You can also use these menus to apply for the HealthierUS School Challenge.

**Beginning July 2013, all grain servings will be calculated using 16 grams of creditable grain ingredients to provide 1 oz. equivalent credit. In past years, grain/bread servings were calculated at 14.75 grams of grains per unit. For SY2012-13 sponsors can use either method. By using the 16 grams = 1 oz. equivalent method, schools may find that they are able to offer more grain choices to students in the school meal programs.
