In the fall and spring, KSDE consultants hold Leadership Connections meetings at more than 20 locations across Kansas. All school nutrition directors and other management staff are encouraged to participate. Meetings are held in the afternoon and generally last for two hours. There is no pre-registration and there is no charge to attend.

Leadership Connections meetings provide a unique opportunity for:

• Receiving updates from KSDE
• Getting questions answered
• Learning about current topics of interest. Each meeting features a one-hour program presented by the consultants.
• Sharing best practices
• Networking with peers
