The Kansas State Department of Education in partnership with Kansas Department of Agriculture, Kansas Agri-Tourism, Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom and Kansas Rural Center have joined together to celebrate the connections between local food and schools!

National Farm to School Month
Share information about Farm to School Month with the school and community through local media or your school's website.

Kansas Grown Produce for FFVP
Offer Kansas Grown Produce in your Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, After School Care Snack Program, or classroom tastings held during the month of October.

Classroom Nutrition Education
Utilize Ag in the Classroom Nutrition Education Lesson Plans.

Success Stories
Share Success Stories through pictures and other documentation of events and activities during this month to be used for future promotions.
